Large blocks of concrete and asphalt at the former Inland Quick Freeze, 200 Madison St. N.E., are being chewed into tiny pieces that will be reclaimed for the Edgewater Village housing development to be built on the site, according to Duane Wilson of RCM Homes in Lake Oswego.
Cleanup begins at Inland site

Cleanup began Tuesday on nearly 6 acres of riverfront property that in January was designated as a dangerous site by the city of Albany.
RCM Homes of Lake Oswego plans to build a $28 million development called Edgewater Village at 200 Madison St. N.E. It will include 162 condominiums. The company had originally planned to start construction by October 2007.
